"He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”" ~ Matthew 17:20
This verse deeply encourages anyone who is struggling with the concept of Faith. Jesus says it so simply, that even those with the slightest amount of faith - the size of a mustard seed, will move mountains. ‘Nothing will be impossible for you’. It is intimately addressed, and doubly-negated to stress how mighty is our God, and how much He loves us that we can accomplish anything in Him. Matthew 13:32 reads that this seed becomes a tall tree and birds come to rest on its branches. Not only will this little seed of faith grow, but that it will flourish, so much that other life will thrive from it.
